Job Title: Civil Designer
Key Responsibilities/Tasks (including, but not limited to):
· Maintain company and project confidentiality.
· Manage, oversee, and coordinate the production of all on-going projects.
· Develop and maintain operational workflows and standards.
· Provide staff training as necessary.
· Support operational teams as needed.
· Prepare construction plans in AutoCAD
· Modify pipes and structures within AutoCAD Civil 3D
· Develop profile views for annotation
· Annotate construction plans as required
· Review surfaces and determine key design points for design
· Develop erosion controls, utility plans, dimension control plans and detention/WQ plans
· Make changes to site under the direction of the Engineer
Required Experience and Education:
· Minimum 5 years in land development.
Skills and Specialized Knowledge:
· Communication, organizational and teamwork stills.
· Motivated self-starter.
· Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
· Capacity to handle pressure and quick turn-around of projects.
· Strong focus on quality.
· Strong familiarity with Civil 3D.
· Good understanding of construction plan sets.
· General understanding of project management practices and methodologies.
